Thanks to Margery Kraus of APCO Worldwide for hosting a book event for Hostile Takeover: A Love Story at the APCO offices in Washington DC, very close to the White House. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. I especially appreciated all the questions from the APCO staff about the process of writing the book. It is always good to catch up with DC folks in an election year, too. The city is abuzz about the election. Got plenty of opinions from the cab drivers, too!

Friends Sandy and Mike came late to the event and didn’t get in, but Roy and I found them just after it was over and had a great dinner. Hadn’t seen them in 20+ years. Fab night to catch up.
